Tamang Selo
Selo is a typical folk melody sung by the Tamang people from the central and western parts of Nepal. The main instruments used are Tungna (Nepalese lute) and Damphu (a double-sided disk-shaped drum). Tamang Selo is sung as a call and response between two groups of singers. In this track the male/female duo tease each other and express happiness at their first encounter.
